Visual artist Hedevig Anker is known for her poetic and abstract renderings of empty and abandoned rooms, both from private residences and also public museums.
She works in the no-man’s-land between photography and painting. In 2014 she published Hedevig Anker og Eidsvollsbygning. She has had many exhibitions throughout Norway, including at the Sternersen Museum in 2014. She has most recently just finished a solo exhibition, Randsoner (Random Zone), at Lillehammer Art Museum.
