Joanna Krawczyk
Krawczyk received The Golden Pen Award in 2022 on behalf of the Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation – and on behalf of its beneficiaries, supporters, and friends. She has been Head of News Partnerships at Gazeta Wyborcza, has been cooperating with Polish and international media outlets, non-governmental organizations and European institutions for many years. She has been President of the Board of the Wyborcza Foundation and serves on the board of the European Media and Information Fund. She is Chairwoman of the Leading European Newspaper Alliance. As from 2023 she is Deputy Director of German Marshall Fund of the US / East, responsible for media recovery and development in Ukraine. She will also continue work in Ukrainian Media Fund.
