To build a society is not a simple task, nor is it to build a school. Yet, there is some inherent art, something human that drives certain individuals to roll up their sleeves and throw themselves into such schemes. Werewere-Liking Gnepo and Eldrid Lunden are two such people, people who have established something which has gelled and created the basis for development and cooperation. Liking established the theater group Ki-Yi M’bock in 1980, which, in 1985, became Ki-Yi M'bock Village. The village is located in the Ivory Coast and provides an artistic education for young people. Eldrid Lunden established the Forfatterstudiet i Bø (writer’s studio) at about the same time. These two meet to discuss the role of community around literature and art. The conversation is led by Olav Blodstrup Müller, Lillehammer UNESCO's city of literature.
