The theme of this year’s literature festival is The World, and this will truly be represented in the opening performance. From different corners of the globe, authors will present a tasting menu of some of the world’s finest contemporary literature.
The authors on stage have all been on a journey, moving between continents, cultures and identities. They write stories with inspiration, based on experiences which together form a large global literary community.
This will be a wonderful hour combining catchy rhythmic music, inherited oral storytelling traditions, autobiographical experiences, imaginative sonorous poetry and reports from the outbreak of war.
