Samanta Schweblin was introduced to Norwegian audiences through Signe Prøis' translation of the novel Distancia de rescate (2014) in 2017. After that came the translation of the novel Kentukis (2018) in 2020 and the short story collection Siete casas vacías (2015) in 2022. Signe Prøis meets the Argentinian author Samanta Schweblin for a conversation about literature, translation and the special relationship between author and translator.
