Festival Venues
The Norwegian Literature Festival collaborates with established venues and dining locations. Most venues have good accessibility, but some historically significant buildings (for example Plan B, Hvelvet, and Kulturhuset Banken) have wheelchair access at the back of the building. If you have special needs, please contact us prior to your festival visit so we can provide you with the information you need and accommodate you in the best possible way at the venues you plan to visit. Companion cards People with companion cards enter for free. The person accompanying them must purchase a ticket. Send an email to bjorn@litteraturfestival.no, with post@litteraturfestival.no copied in, to receive a companion ticket.

Parking
There are parking spaces in Lillehammer in general and in connection with most of the Festival’s venues. Check each parking area for designated spaces marked with handicapped parking signs. Lillehammer mostly consists of asphalt sidewalks but has some areas with cobblestones.

Practical information about tickets

Tickets, festival passes and gift cards can be purchased via TicketCo.

Starting April 11th, you can also purchase tickets at the Festival bookstore, Norli, at Storgata 61 in Lillehammer.

Ticket sales at our Festival office in Lillehammer in 2024:

Monday, May 27th – Friday, May 31st: 9:00-20:00

Saturday, June 1st: 10:00-18:00

Sunday, June 2nd: 12:00-15:00

Refunds: Purchased tickets cannot be refunded.

Different types of tickets

Festival Pass

Provides access to all events during the Norwegian Festival of Literature in 2024, provided there is available space. To secure your spot, we strongly encourage you to obtain guarantee tickets (read more below) well in advance. Visit the Festival office to activate your Festival pass.

Single ticket

Provides access to a single Festival event for one person.

Guarantee ticket

Everyone who purchases a Festival pass is sent a promo code that can be used to activate guarantee tickets (20 NOK). By purchasing a guarantee ticket, you are guaranteed a spot at the event in question.
