Geert Mak
Geert Mak (b. 1946) is a Dutch journalist and non‑fiction writer, and one of Europe’s most widely read narrative historians. He is best known for In Europe: Travels Through the Twentieth Century and for books that blend political history with vivid human stories. Mak has received several international awards, including the Leipzig Book Prize for European Understanding.
