Inger Elisabeth Hansen (b. 1950, Oslo) is regarded as one of Norway’s foremost and most distinctive poets. She has published nine poetry collections and has also translated several Spanish-language authors. She has been awarded the Dobloug Prize, the Norwegian Poetry Prize, the Aschehoug Prize, and the Gyldendal Prize.
