Iryna Shuvalova

Iryna Shuvalova (b. 1986) is a poet, transelator and academic from Ukraine. She has published five poetry collections in Ukrainian, and is transelated into more than 30 languages. She is also a renowned transelator between Ukrainian and English, and was the editor of the first queer  anthology in Ukraine. Shuvalova has a PhD in slavic studies from the University of Cambridge, and has since 2023 worked as a postdoc at the University of Oslo.
