PUB CRAWL: PARTYING WITH TOVE JANSSON
As tradition has it, we’ll be wrapping up our pub crawl with a musical celebration in the Festival Tent. This time, we let our imagination run wild and party with Tove—under the guidance of Tove expert Heidi Sævareid. She’ll introduce us to Lillehammer local and former President of the Norwegian Parliament, Olemic Thommessen, who will share the story of an unforgettable night out in London with Tove Jansson. Then, Finland-Swedish actress and singer Emma Klingenberg will take the stage. She has researched and written about the musical side of Tove Jansson’s artistry and has breathed new life into Tove’s lyrical songs through concert performances. Together with pianist Kristian Nyman, she will present a sparkling string of both well-known and lesser-known Tove songs.
