Gunnhild Øyehaug and Georgi Gospodinov meet for a conversation about how experimental literature can explore human experience in new ways. Gospodinov regards memory and time as shaping forces, both collectively and individually, while Øyehaug examines how language, form, and fragments can capture sensations, relationships, and moments—and open new perspectives on the everyday and the existential. Together, they demonstrate how literature can make the past and present vivid and active in the lives of characters, and how form and language create new ways of seeing the human experience.
