JANNE STIGEN DRANGSHOLT

Janne Stigen Drangsholt (b. 1974) is a professor of English literature at the University of Stavanger. She made her debut in 2011 with the novel Humlefangeren and has since enjoyed tremendous success with her novels about Ingrid Winter. Drangsholt is also known for the NRK podcasts Janne og Jostein-show and Kjente bøker på fire minutter, the latter of which inspired her to write the non-fiction book Fra Shakespeare til Knausgård. 66 klassikere du naturligvis har lest (From Shakespeare to Knausgård: 66 Classics You've Obviously Read, illustrated by Therese G. Eide). In spring 2023, she released Winterferie, the fourth novel about Ingrid Winter.
