BIRGER EMANUELSEN

Birger Emanuelsen is an award-winning author from Tromøy. He made his debut in 2012 with For riket er ditt (For the Kingdom is Yours). Since then, he has published the novels Fra jorden roper blodet (Blood Calls from the Earth) in 2014, Historien om et godt menneske (The History of a Good Person) in 2015, Anna og kjærligheten (Anna and Love) in 2016, and Jeg skal beskytte deg (I Will Protect You) in 2018. His latest novel is titled Statsråden kommer (The Minister is Coming), released in 2021.



In 2024, he will release the books Før de forsvinner (Before They Disappear) and Resten brenner vi (We'll Burn the Rest). He has a background as an advisor for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), a journalist for Dagbladet and Dagens Næringsliv, an editor for Cappelen Damm Publishing House, and a speechwriter for the government.
