GLENN BECH

Glenn Bech (b. 1991) is a trained psychologist. He graduated from the Forfatterskolen in Copenhagen in 2019 and made his debut in 2021 with the novel Farskipet (The Father Ship), which was nominated for several awards and awarded Novel of the Year by the Blixen Prize. In 2022, he published Jeg anerkjenner ikke lenger deres autoritet (I No Longer Acknowledge Their Authority), a text categorized as a manifesto and which ignited a larger discussion about class, gender, and identity in Denmark. The book received the Politiken Literature Prize in 2022.
