Sherin A. Wahab (b. 1968) has been translating Norwegian literature into Arabic for 17 years. She has translated works by various Norwegian authors, including Henrik Ibsen, Knut Hamsun, Vigdis Hjorth, and Jon Fosse. She is currently working on translating Fosse’s Septology series. Sherin was the initiator behind Norway becoming the guest of honor at the Cairo Book Fair in 2024 and has worked on the project as a cultural consultant and coordinator in Egypt.
