STAVANGER BAROKK

Stavanger Barokk is an early music ensemble founded in the spring of 2005. Since then, the ensemble has had 3-6 annual performances with a repertoire focused on instrumental and vocal music from all over Europe in the period between 1600-1770. Stavanger Barokk consists of musicians who specialise in historical performance practices and who play on Baroque instruments. The show with Tore Renberg was first performed in the Stavanger Concert Hall in the fall of 2023, and the group consists of Elin Aase (voice), Henrikke G. Rynning (viola da gamba), Gunnhild Tønder (harpsichord), Ingrid Økland (Baroque violin) and Torun Torbo (traverso).
