TORE RENBERG

Tore Renberg (b. 1972) is an exceptional author in Norwegian literature. He has a wide range and has published numerous books that have become popular among readers, from the iconic novels about Jarle Klepp, to Du er så lys and Tollak til Ingeborg, and notably the Teksas series about small-time criminals from the shadowy side of Stavanger. Renberg made his debut in 1995 with Sovende floke, for which he received the Tarjei Vesaas' debutant prize. He has received the Bokhandlerprisen (Bookseller's Prize) twice, the P2-lytternes romanpris (P2 Listener's Novel Prize), the Nynorsk Litteraturpris (Nynorsk Literature Prize), and has enthusiastic readers in 18 countries. His latest publication is the novel Lungeflyteprøven (The Lung Test).
