PUBLIC MEETING ON FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

Freedom of expression has always been subject to pressure and with war in Europe it is threatened in a new and acute way. With three Nobel Prize winners, local youths, and musicians of an international class on stage, important questions are raised alongside the flag of freedom of expression.
Ole Torp, former foreign correspondent, and host on NRK, chairs proceedings. With him on stage he is joined by:
-Winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Abdulrazak Gurnah (TZ / UK), and winners of the Nobel Peace Prize, Maria Ressa (PH) and Dmitry Muratov (RU).
-Role model Penelope Lea and local youths who have participated in the project Youth's participation in society.
-The duo Innlandet, with Ingrid Olava and Andreas Ulvo, in collaboration with musicians from Orkester Innlandet and free city musician Hamid Sakhizada (AF) will draw us into their musical universe.
Be there, support freedom of expression and discover role models who are not afraid to raise their voices to convey what they are passionate about.
