Belgian illustrator and author Leo Timmers creates vivid, cinematic worlds where animals take center stage. Loneliness and humor are central themes in his picture books, which have been translated into 39 languages and sold over 1 million copies. His book Kind Crocodile has recently been published in Norwegian (Snille Krokodille, Omnipax), and in 2026, Timmers has been nominated for both the H.C.
