A dialogue about conflict, history, and generational relationships
Film screening and presentation by Damir Avdagic. In the film Prolazi izmedju 1980-2021 (Passenger between 1980-2021), five individuals who arrived in Norway as child refugees in the 1990s present testimonies from the period 1980-95. The dialogue in the script they read unravels the development of the conflict in the former Yugoslavia and originates from members of their parents' and grandparents' generations. During the presentation, the participants interrupt their roles and switch between speaking different languages. They reflect on the shared history they have and share their experiences regarding national, political, and social belonging.
