OPENING CEREMONY

On Tuesday, May 28th, the grand hall at Maihaugen will come alive with a gathering of Norwegian and international authors presenting boundary-pushing literature. You'll have the pleasure of experiencing various genres suitable for all ages, showcasing some of the finest contemporary literature.

 

The opening will be a diverse hour filled with captivating music, powerful personal experiences, reports from wartime, truth, and imaginative poetry. Additionally, the Bjørnson Prize will be awarded and the Norwegian Dobloug Prizes will be revealed.
